How RNIB Scotland helps people with sight loss
As Scotland's leading sight loss charity, we work to help adults and children who are blind or partially sighted to live as fully and independently as possible.
We support children and their families in school. Transcribe written information into braille, audio and large print. Train people to retain their jobs or find new ones. Provide a wide range of useful equipment and aids. Campaign and lobby to improve legislation and policies. Advise on welfare rights. Deliver social services on behalf of councils. Organise leisure activities. Maintain a large 'talking books' library. Broadcast daily through our Insight Radio station.
We help people of all ages to find their lives again and engage with the world with confidence.
But we can only do that with your help. Please go to How You Can Help Us to find out how.
