Pledge your support

Other ways to fundraise for RNIB Scotland

4th March
World Book Day - Bring a Book/Buy a book

Less than five per cent of all books are available to blind or partially sighted people. Help us change this by holding a Bring and Buy book sale with your friends and colleagues on World Book Day. We will supply support materials and goodies to help you.

May - August
Open Garden Season

Do you have a beautiful garden that you know other people would enjoy visiting? On a summer's day, host an Open Garden Day for family, friends, and neighbours. By charging a small admission fee or selling afternoon teas you can support people who can no longer enjoy seeing flowers in full bloom. We will provide information on hosting your event and fundraising ideas.

14 October
World Sight Day - Dress Down Dotty.

To celebrate the achievements of Louis Braille, you and your colleagues/students are invited to hold a Dress Down Dotty Day at your work place or school. Come to work/school dressed in dots, play dotty dominoes or bake dotty cakes. We will supply Dotty ideas and support materials to help you.

1 - 20 December
Singing Santas

Get together with a group of friends/colleagues to brighten up your workplace by forming a carol singing group of Santas or go public in your local high street or shopping centre. We will provide Santa Suits, collecting buckets and where necessary Authority Permits.
