RNIB Scotland is asking people around the country to take just a moment, and think what you would lose if you lost your sight.

Check our video clips, photos and written comments to see what people have said so far... and tell us what you personally would miss most through uploading your own video clip or posting a comment. You can also tell us what you would miss most by clicking on our online poll.

Perhaps it would be the sight of your children growing up, reading a book, a favourite view, a fondly remembered film, the ability to drive?

But if you lost your sight would you also lose your job, your income, your house, the life you knew? If you were at school, how would you access the same educational material as your classmates?

To highlight some of these issues, we have produced a striking specially commissioned advertisement that will be playing on large screens in the following shopping centres over the next few weeks:

11 January - St Enoch's, Glasgow (for seven days)
18 January - Union Square, Aberdeen (for seven days)
25 January - The Gyle, Edinburgh (for seven days)
15 February - Braehead, Glasgow (for seven days)
22 February - Overgate, Dundee (for seven days)
- Thistle Shopping Centre, Stirling (for seven days)

Helpers at each site will be asking the public to donate or pledge their support to help RNIB Scotland's work with adults and children who are blind or partially sighted.
